DENTAL BILLING, PAYMENTS & PANELS

The visit is complete. The bill should be clear.

CHECKOUT

One clear balance.

The deposit is already accounted for. Staff records the remaining payment when it is received.

Illustrative amounts. No payment is taken.

A paid deposit is not a settled bill.

The appointment may start with a deposit, end with additional services and involve a patient, employer panel or insurer. When those details live in separate records, checkout becomes a reconciliation exercise. Staff need a clear account of the visit and the responsibility for the remaining amount.

HOW THE WORK CONNECTS

Follow the money through the visit.

  1. Record the charges

Build the bill from the services and items recorded for the visit. Keep the charge description and amount clear for staff and the patient.

  2. Account for payments

Record deposits and confirmed payments against the bill so the remaining balance reflects what has actually been collected.

  3. Keep payer details

Add relevant insurer, panel or TPA information, membership details, supporting documents and claim references to the billing record.

  4. Follow outstanding amounts

Review unpaid bills and record collection when staff confirms it. Keep external panel actions and the practice’s billing status aligned.

BUILT FOR YOUR PRACTICE

Patient payments and panel work, in context.

A readable account of each visit

Keep itemised services and recorded payments together. A deposit contributes to the visit balance; it does not prove that all services have been paid for. Staff can explain what is due without reconstructing the appointment from payment screenshots.

Familiar Malaysian payment options

Supported payment flows include FPX, DuitNow QR, cards and enabled wallets. Availability follows your practice’s payment setup. Staff-confirmed manual payments remain distinguishable from online payment confirmations, so the record reflects how the money was received.

Insurance and TPA information stays with the bill

Record the payer, panel or TPA, membership information, card images and claim reference where the team follows the bill. An outstanding insurance bill remains outstanding until collection is recorded. Your staff continues the eligibility and claim process through the relevant panel’s own channels.

BEFORE YOUR DEMO

A few things
worth knowing.

Can Watson record insurance and TPA details?

Yes. Payer, panel or TPA details, member information, supporting card images and claim references can be kept with the bill. Staff can review outstanding amounts and record collection.

Does it automatically submit dental insurance claims?

No. Eligibility checks, approvals and claim submissions continue through the panel or insurer’s process. Watson provides the associated billing record and staff-confirmed payment status.

Can we collect a deposit before the appointment?

A configured booking flow can request a deposit through the practice’s enabled payment options. The deposit and the final bill need to be considered together when reviewing the balance.

Are procedure prices shown on this website?

The amounts in the demonstration are fictional examples of a dental practice bill. They are not Watson subscription prices or recommended dental fees. Your practice controls its service prices.

Can we review patient and panel payments in the demo?

Yes. Bring an example of a self-paying visit and a panel visit. We will walk through charges, deposits, payer references, outstanding amounts and the collection step.

YOUR PRACTICE. YOUR WORKFLOW.
