Illustrative practices and assigned HQ access. Full clinical charts have separate permissions.
A group should not have to chase every branch for context.
One location has a different schedule. Another shares a receptionist. A patient messages the group number without naming a practice. As the group grows, these small details become daily coordination work. Your team needs a structure that keeps the branch visible and gives the right people a useful view across locations.
HOW THE WORK CONNECTS
Start with the location. Connect the group.
Map the practices
Set up each branch with its own hours, services, dentists and operating details. Keep its records identifiable by location.
Assign the people
Give staff access to the locations and actions their responsibilities require. Review clinical access separately.
Connect patient channels
For supported shared accounts, let the patient choose the relevant location so the conversation and booking use the right practice context.
Review from HQ
Authorised group staff can search and filter supported operational summaries, then open the branch that needs attention.
BUILT FOR YOUR PRACTICE
Consistency across locations, with local details intact.
A working day that belongs to the branch
The location’s opening hours, dentist availability, appointments and arrivals shape its day. Local staff work in the context they are assigned to. Medicine stock and patient records retain their location and access boundaries.
Group oversight with a defined scope
HQ can review supported summaries for bookings, contacts, catalogue, team, inbox and scheduling across permitted locations. Search and filter by practice, then open the relevant location to manage the detail. Oversight is tied to access, not granted to every staff account.
A shared number with a clear branch choice
Where the connected account supports the configured group setup, the conversation can ask which branch the patient wants. That choice guides the subsequent administrative answers and appointment search. Test your intended channels and routing during setup.
BEFORE YOUR DEMO
A few things worth knowing.
Can Watson support several dental practices?+
Yes. The group and location structure supports branch operations, assigned staff access and authorised HQ views. Setup should map each practice’s hours, services, dentists and channels.
Can one WhatsApp account serve more than one branch?+
Supported connected accounts can serve configured locations, with a branch-choice workflow to establish where the patient wants to book. We should test your intended account and routing scenario during setup.
Can a dentist access every branch’s patient chart automatically?+
No. Clinical access remains subject to the assigned business or location and the staff member’s permissions. Shared clinical history across practices is a separate requirement to assess.
Is medicine inventory pooled across the group?+
Medicine definitions can come from the shared catalogue, but physical quantities and batches belong to the location. Inter-branch transfers and pooled stock are separate workflow requirements.
Does this include Business Advisor?+
No. The dental group offering covers practice operations, supported HQ views, staff permissions and channel setup. Business Advisor is excluded.
